This Saturday, May 23rd, is the first Munchkin Tournament of the year at the Spenard Lion’s Club. The tourney will begin at 10:30 am and last until open gaming in the evening.
The past Munchkin tourney’s have been a total blast, so come one, come all and kick down a door, kill a monster or two and stab your buddy in the back!
That’s right folks, the new forum install and setup went fairly smoothly this past weekend and everything is now up and running.
Now that the software is all in place and running well, expect some changes in layout, design and such as we continue to improve things around theAMGC.com.

In an effort to do some seriously-needed spring cleaning and to streamline and revamp our site, as of May 1st, 2009 the old forums will be taken down and the databases will be wiped. On May 2nd our new forums will go online with new features and functionality.
This will, unfortunately, require our members to re-register their forum accounts.
It is our hope that this will speed up the forums and reduce downtime due to bloated databases and ancient unused information. if anyone has any information on the current forums that they feel needs to be preserved, please copy the information and feel free to re-post it after the new forums go live.

The AMGC will be holding it’s annual post-Brimfrost business meeting on Saturday, April 4th at the Spenard Lion’s Club. On the agenda are a recap of Brimfrost 2009 and the yearly Officer elections. All current members are highly encouraged to show up!
That’s right folks, Brimfrost 2009 will open it’s doors this Friday, the 13th of March at 7:00AM! Doors will close at Midnight and reopen for Saturday at 7:00AM.
The big events of the day are the Warhammer Fantasy Tournament starting at 9:30AM and the Monsterpocalypse Tournament starting at 5:00PM. You can also start bringing in your entries for the Painting Competition and come in to participate in any of the plethora of other games that will be played throughout the day and the weekend!

Last evening, Saturday the 7th, the AMGC officers held a meeting to discuss upcoming Brimfrost plans. We are happy to announce that Brimfrost 2009 will be held March 13th, 14th & 15th at the Dimond Center!
Events will include ther ever-pupular Warhammer 40k Tournament, a Warmachine/Hordes Tournament, CCG Tournaments and much more. Check the Brimfrost Page often as we update with event times and information.
Our site was recently hit by a malicious attack and we’re in the process of attempting to rebuild. Unfortunately, the attacker also targeted our forums so those are also currently down.
We will endeavour to return the site to its previous form in as timely a manner as possible.
